For most of us reading this, we “lost” an hour of sleep overnight. 😴
Oh, I know there are ways to trick your brain into thinking you got the same amount of sleep as the night before, but if you’re like me, you were probably up when the computer clock strapped to your wrist struck 3 bells, when it should have been striking 2.
And, I’ll admit: In the era of computer-driven, auto-adjusting clocks, there’s something delightfully, weirdly, wonderful about watching the numbers automatically tick from 2am to 3am within the blink of an eye.
But as time marches on, so does Macstock X!
Speaking of time, Macstock will be here before we know it and I was having a heckuva time working out this year’s schedule to accommodate as many of the awesome talk submissions that I received as possible. But yesterday it just clicked. I’m not sure why my brain gears were skipping as much as they were — and maybe it helped to have the knowledge that I was losing an hour this weekend — but yesterday, after a couple weeks of arranging and rearranging rows and columns within Numbers, everything just slipped neatly into place!
So, with the schedule done, I can now let you know that Macstock X Weekend will be packed with 8 workshop-length 90 min sessions and up to 8 standard 45 min sessions, PLUS (another) something new for Macstock that we’re cooking up for Saturday evening. And we’ll be announcing that on the next Macstock live stream.
AND I can also tell you that during the upcoming week I’m going to begin sending emails to accept yet another Macstock Weekend full of amazing talks submitted by some of the best voices from within the Apple community.
So now, I hear you asking, with something new planned for Saturday evening AND a fresh round of presenters to share, you’d actually like to know WHEN the next Macstock live stream will be?
Well, I’m happy to share that with you!
The next Macstock X Live Stream will take place on March 13th, 2026!
Here are the details:
Come hang out with Macstock Organizer Mike Potter (that’s me) and my guest, Marty Jencius, for all the latest updates on Macstock X coming your way July 2026 for Macstock’s 10th Year!
Marty will join me to share our idea for a more hands-on, interactive, experience that we’ve been working on for Saturday evening (No, Guy, it’s not Cheap Trick — Janet WISHES!!!). We’ll also announce the first round of speakers for Macstock X, give an update on Weekend Pass sales — as well as “last call” for Early Bird pricing — answer any questions you might have, and cover just about anything else that comes to mind!

I had a blast on the inaugural Macstock X Live Stream last week with my guests Katie & Doc of Ecamm as we announced, not only the Macstock Early Bird Sale for 2026, but also Macstock’s partnership with Ecamm as they bring the first-ever Creator Camp: Mac Edition to Macstock this year!
Wait…Creator Camp: MAC Edition? Yep, that’s right! Bringing Creator Camp to Macstock means that we’ll be adding a 4th Day to Macstock Weekend!
Macstock Conference will run July 10, 11, & 12 and Creator Camp: Mac Edition will be held July 9th.
And with a theme of Inspire this year, that means you’ll have TWO PATHS to Inspiration when selecting your Macstock Weekend Pass! You can choose to attend Macstock Only — that’s your traditional 3-Day Macstock Weekend Pass — OR you can “Plus” your weekend by picking up the Creator Camp + Macstock Bundle Pass!
And the best part? BOTH are on Early Bird Sale right now…but only through March 31st.
The Macstock Weekend Pass is now $100 Off! (that’s last year’s early bird pricing!)
OR
Pick up the Creator Camp + Macstock Bundle Pass at $125 Off!
The path you take is up to you (get out your compass! 🧭):
All the details can be found on our Registration Page, but if you opt for the Macstock Weekend Pass, you’ll get full access to this year’s main stage Sessions & Workshops on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, all available session materials, a free Digital Pass to watch the talks again on demand, this year’s commemorative t-shirt, morning coffee & lunch all three days, plus a little bonus swag too.
Or opt for the Creator Camp + Macstock Bundle which includes EVERYTHING in the Macstock Weekend Pass PLUS the full day of Creator Camp Workshops with hands-on training on Thursday, direct time with the Ecamm Team, the day’s workshop materials, coffee & lunch, plus a Creator Camp Welcome Bag (more swag!).
There’s one important note on the Creator Camp Bundle Pass though: it’s limited to the first 100 folks to sign up, so don’t wait too long!

Back in December I promised a “major announcement…sometime around the middle of January”. Well, it seems the middle of January has come and gone without said announcement, and while this newsletter isn’t the announcement as such, it is the announcement of the live stream where we’ll make the announcement. Or something like that. (Anyone else feel dizzy?)
More importantly, thanks to the magic of Woodstock’s annual Groundhog Days festival (Woodstock being the town the movie Groundhog Day was filmed — if you’d not heard me mention that before *ahem*), I’ve enlisted the help of Woodstock’s own furry prognosticator, Woodstock Willie to see if he could lend a paw to help ensure the Macstock Live Stream still takes place within the month of January.
Now, you have to understand that groundhogs aren’t much for calendars, let alone the Gregorian calendar that we all follow around these parts. When it comes to his annual predictions, all Woodstock Willie knows is that he saw his shadow … or not. It’s up to us to interpret it.
However, in recent years, Willie has been looking for ways to expand his repertoire. So, naturally, when I asked for Willie’s help, he promptly chittered: “I got your back Mike!” and immediately declared that due to the absolutely frigid temps we’ve been experiencing (it was around 5°F when I began writing this) that we should all remain nestled deep within our burrows, and THEREFORE, the great prognosticator of prognosticators proclaimed, there shall be 6 More Days of January!
That means I can keep my promise to host the Macstock X Kickoff Live Stream (with the major announcement) in January!
Ain’t Marmot Magic wonderful? 😊
That means the first Macstock X Live Stream will take place on…January 36th, 2026!
(IMPORTANT NOTE for those who are far less inclined to believe in Groundhogian Calendar Magic than I am, that translates to February 5th, 2026)
Here are the details:
Come hang out with Macstock Organizer Mike Potter (that’s me) and his Surprise Special Guests for all the updates on Macstock X (and more) coming your way July 2026 for Macstock’s 10th Year!
Mike and his guests will talk Weekend Pass sales, give an update on the venue and speaker submissions (and let you know how to submit a talk yourself), answer your questions, PLUS we’ve got a major announcement planned for this live stream to share something that’s never been done at Macstock before — and I can’t wait to let you know all about it!
