Terms and Conditions

updates effective: March 10, 2024

Macstock Conference and Expo (“Macstock”, “Macstock Conference”) is scheduled to take place July 12-14, 2024. These Terms & Conditions apply to every person registering as an in-person or Digital Pass attendee to Macstock. All written notices and requests regarding Macstock should be sent to the conference organizer at support@macstockconferenceandexpo.com or ESC! Technologies Group, LLC, c/o Macstock Conference, 138 Cass St, Woodstock IL 60098.

Registration Deadlines

You may purchase a ticket to Macstock right up to the first day of the conference. However, the deadline to register and receive the full benefits of the Weekend Pass, Single Day Pass, or Weekend Pass+Workshops Pass, including lunch each day and a t-shirt at the time of check-in, is no later than June 28th, 2024.

If you register after June 28th, lunch may not be available (although we’ll try our best to get it for you — please ask at registration!) and we may need to mail a t-shirt to you.

A Digital Pass will be available for purchase up to 2 months after Macstock ends (September 30th, 2024). The sale of Digital Passes may be extended at Macstock’s discretion.

Early Bird Rate & Other Discounts (coupon codes)

In order to qualify for any ‘early bird’ rates or special discounts such as, but not including, group or educational discounts made available via the use of coupon codes, your ticket purchase and payment must be received before the deadline date listed in the Macstock marketing material or the coupon deadline date.

Weekend Pass, Single Day Pass &
Weekend Pass + Workshops Pass: Cancellation/Refund Policy

If circumstances change and you can no longer attend Macstock, you may cancel your registration per the schedule below by providing written notice to the Organizer using the contact information above or via our Contact Us page.

Please keep in mind that there are certain points in the conference planning process where costs are incurred that we cannot recover, so cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the start of Macstock will not be refunded.

The Macstock refund policy for in-person tickets is as follows:

  • All Macstock Passes (tickets) include a $10 non-refundable processing fee built in to the price.
  • Macstock Passes (tickets) are not partially refundable.
  • Cancellation by June 13, 2024: Full refund of registration fee less the $10 processing fee.
  • Cancellations made June 14, 2024 through June 27, 2024: Refund of ticket price paid less $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation fee includes the $10 processing fee.
  • Cancellation after June 28, 2024: no refunds. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to the start of Macstock, as well as attendees who fail to attend, will be responsible for the full ticket price paid.

If you do not attend Macstock and did not cancel your registration, you will be responsible for the full ticket price paid and you will not be refunded.

Please remember that canceling your registration does not cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. You are responsible for canceling your own hotel and travel reservations.

You may make a substitution at any time for a small fee. Please see the Substitution Policy below.

Macstock Digital Pass: Cancellation/Refund Policy

Due to the nature of the pass, Digital Pass ticket purchases are non-refundable after the content has been delivered to Digital Passholders. This includes any live streamed content.

Please note that if you do not cancel or do not access the Digital Pass on-demand content, you are still responsible for payment. In no event shall Macstock be obligated to refund all or a portion of an unused Digital Pass ticket purchase.

Macstock Swag Shop: Physical Goods Refund Policy

All returns/exchanges must be accompanied by an original store/website receipt and made within 30 days of purchase (in person at Macstock) or within 30 days of delivery (online orders). Our complete Macstock Swag Shop Physical Goods Refund Policy may be found here:

Gift Certificates

Macstock Gift Certificates (aka Macstock Gift Cards) may be used as payment for more than one order if the initial order does not exceed the value of the gift certificate. The remaining balance on the gift certificate can be used for future orders by re-entering your existing number. When you purchase a gift certificate online, you will receive an electronic gift certificate via email.

Macstock Gift Certificates (aka Macstock Gift Cards) can be redeemed in the Macstock Swag Shop merchandise store at macstockconferenceandexpo.com. Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash, check, or credit. Please treat your gift certificate like cash; if your gift certificate is lost or stolen, it will not be replaced.

If you would like to apply your Macstock Gift Certificate / Gift Card toward the purchase of a Macstock VIII Weekend Pass, Single Day Pass, or Weekend Pass+Workshops Pass, please Contact Us. Your Macstock Gift Certificate will be voided and a coupon code will be issued equivalent to the remaining/available balance of your Macstock Gift Certificate.

Single Day Pass: Changing the Day You’ll Be Attending

If you would like to change your Single Day Pass from any single day to another single day (e.g. change from Saturday to Sunday) please send us an email using the contact information above or via our Contact Us page.

Because we’re arranging for meals each day, please be aware the deadline to switch days at no cost is June 28th, 2024.

After June 28th, 2024 there will be a $25 fee to cover the additional meal expenses.

Weekend Pass, Single Day Pass &
Weekend Pass + Workshops Pass: Substitution Policy

Allowing another person to attend in your place is allowed with the written permission of the original ticket holder. The original ticket holder may request a substitution and transfer ALL benefits of attending Macstock by sending an email to support@macstockconferenceandexpo.com. If the request is not received prior to July 5th, 2024, the substitution may be made on-site. A maximum of one (1) substitution per original ticket holder is allowed. Please note there may be a $25 processing fee for any substitution, special requests for lunch may not be available (although we’ll try our best to get it for the substitute ticket holder — please ask at registration), and we may need to mail a t-shirt to the substitute ticket holder.
