You knew this was coming, right?!?

The Privacy Policy for the Macstock Conference and Expo website has been updated effective May 24, 2018.

Quite honestly, it’s not a whole lot different than the previous policy because keeping your information private is of utmost importance to me, but some of the changes include adding a link for the Privacy Policy to the Contact Us menu of the website as well as explaining in more detail how your information is used as a visitor to the Macstock website and as an attendee of the in-person Macstock Conference.

And you already know that you can unsubscribe from mailings such as our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any marketing email you receive from us (the Macstock newsletter is the only marketing email I send).

Unfortunately, I’ve also been forced to restrict certain Macstock offers such as Educational Discounts and Group Rates to folks living outside the EU/EEA.

You do not need to do anything. If you continue using the website or attend Macstock in person, you acknowledge that your use is subject to our new Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, let me know.

An important note for residents of the EU/EEA!!

Even though Macstock has been using “Double Opt-In” newsletter subscription forms on our website since the beginning — a process that verifies your intent to receive our newsletters — IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF THE EU/EEA, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY FURTHER NEWSLETTERS FROM MACSTOCK unless you re-subscribe.

All EU/EEA Subscribers are being removed automatically after May 24, 2018 (US Time). EU/EEA residents MUST resubscribe on our website at https://macstockconferenceandexpo.com/macstock-newsletter/ to continue receiving updates from Macstock in the form of our newsletter. Please note, however, that Macstock may send you “system” emails, such as password reset requests, Macstock Conference-related announcements (if you’re a registered attendee), or payment notifications/receipts even if you have not opted-in to email marketing lists.
