Who Will You Inspire at Macstock?
Macstock has always drawn from its community to bring fun & engaging talks to its stage, and 2026 will be no different! So I’m inviting you to step onto the stage at Macstock X to help bring everything full circle for Macstock’s 10th Anniversary!
We LOVE unique and hands-on topics of all kinds and ALL are encouraged to submit a speaking proposal. Even if you’ve never presented before, please know that Macstock is for everyone, so no matter your background or experience level, we want to hear your ideas!
Taking place July 10, 11, & 12, 2026, Macstock X’s theme is “Inspire!” and we’re looking for talks that can take hold of this year’s theme and run with it by offering Workshops and Standard Sessions designed to inspire the audience to get the most from their Apple hardware & software no matter their skill level.
Some tips for submitting your talk:
- Please submit an accurate and complete description of your presentation. Remember that what you write will be what’s shared on the Macstock website and we want to make sure your talk matches up with the presentation you give! And, oh yeah, complete descriptions help me determine which talks to accept!
- Take into consideration the level of expertise expected from those attending your presentation. Macstock is a single track conference. Please keep in mind that even for intermediate and advanced topics, there will be people in attendance at a more introductory level who you’ll want to engage with as well. Save some room in your talk for information that everyone can benefit from!
- Are there things attendees should know prior to hearing your talk or anything they should consider bringing to get the most from it? For example: Are they expected to have a particular app pre-installed on their device (licensed or trial)? Will your talk focus on hardware that might be useful to have on hand? Will it highlight macOS, iOS, or something else? Make sure your submission description includes this information so folks are prepared!
- Please consider a 90 Minute Workshop-length talk. Workshops have gone over really well in recent years and continue to be requested!
- Not ready to present a Workshop-length session? Our Standard Sessions are 45 minutes and the perfect length many different types of presentations.
- If selected as a presenter, Macstock expects you will help promote the event. This is in your interest as well as ours! Likewise, if there’s something I can provide to help you promote the weekend to your audience, please let me know!
- One more thing: As much as I would like to accept ALL presentation submissions, just because you submit a presentation idea doesn’t mean that your talk will be accepted. As a single-track conference, Macstock has a very limited number of Workshop and Standard Session slots, and every year I receive far more presentation applications than I can accept. A rejection does NOT mean your talk idea was a bad one! It only means Macstock has hit its limit of presenters. I encourage you to try again next year!
Who Attends Macstock?
With an emphasis on the end-user, Macstock stands out as one of the more unique Apple-focused conferences held each year, gathering together an amazing group of people from all walks of life & professions who bring with them a broad range of interests and experiences. Our audience attends Macstock to learn about new techniques, ask questions & share ideas, explore new software & hardware, and find out how to get the most from the tools they already have.
Please note: If you’ve not read the Macstock Speaker Rules, please do so before submitting your presentation ideas. All Macstock speakers receive a single complimentary Weekend Pass to the conference. A Guest Pass is available at a greatly reduced rate. Hotel, airfare and other travel expenses are not covered.
